Case Study: McEvoy Group
The publishing company, McEvoy Group, needed support to improve their diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the company. The Farzana Nayani team helped to establish Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and gain leadership buy-in to promote sustainability for the groups. To establish buy-in, the team led training for senior leadership on the topic of “Leading with a DEI Mindset.” Through collaborative efforts, leadership gained the tools necessary to support their ERGs with their goal-setting, mission, and vision. Trainings were also conducted for the ERGs on leadership best practices and resources to engage members.

Solution
Farzana Nayani’s team provided executive coaching for DEI best practices within the publishing industry. Due to McEvoy’s need for a sense of community and belonging between the different publishing agencies under the umbrella of McEvoy Group, Nayani’s team guided and established two ERGs within the company. A training series was also created to teach staff-wide best practices with a DEI lens.
